About My SLC Journey

My SLC Journey is a private planning application that helps students at Jessup University understand and track their Spiritual Life Credit (SLC) requirements and build a clear, semester-by-semester path to graduation. Rather than guessing how many credits remain or which approved pathways fit a busy class schedule, students enter their enrollment cohort, accepted transfer units, approved SLC totals, expected graduation term, and personal availability — and the app generates a deterministic, personalized plan that respects Jessup's current SLC policy.

The app is built for undergraduate students at Jessup University, including both grandfathered students (enrolled before Summer 2026) and new students beginning in Fall 2026 or later. It supports two distinct requirement scales, the 5-SLC per semester limit with a graduating senior exception, the Chapel attendance requirement, and the Chapel Exception that lets additional Chapel-earned Discipleship credit reduce a student's Service expectation. Students can log each activity they earn, run what-if scenarios to test alternative timelines, and review the plain-language policy that powers every plan.

My SLC Journey is built and maintained by Jessup Campus Ministries as a student-facing companion to the official Campus Ministries Hub. It is a planning tool — not an official record. Only you can see your plan and progress (there is no staff dashboard for individual plans), and your official Jessup student records remain the source of truth for approved credits and graduation status.
